About me.

Women providing support and loving care to those in labour and postpartum is a widely practiced ancient tradition. I am passionate about mother-centered maternity care based on informed choice and consent. I believe in honouring the postpartum period and the importance of support for parents and families during this time of transition.

I became a mum in 2019. With my partner and doula by my side I felt confident navigating maternity services and had a wonderfully empowering birth. This life-affirming experience drew me to the work of supporting women and birthing people.

I trained as a doula in 2020 through the BirthBliss Academy. In 2021 I completed foundation level breastfeeding support training with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers. I have also attended The Queer Birth Club’s LGBT+ 'Competency in Birth and Beyond’ workshop, Birthrights’ ‘Human rights in maternity care’ course and Molly O’Brien’s ‘Biomechanics for Birth’ foundation course.

I am working towards full doula accreditation in the Doula UK mentorship programme. Until I have completed the recognition process I am offering birth and postnatal doula support at a discounted rate in Bristol and surrounding areas.
